  1. How long has AD•INK been in business?

    AD•INK has been in business for ten (10) years. The concept has been successful for 40 years,
    since 1968.

  2. What are the benefits to AD•INK's Magazine Network Program?

    Ads in our magazines reach more quality women adults and young women consumers in one media venue than other local media at the best rate.

  3. Where will advertising be positioned in the magazines?

    AD•INK seeks middle of the book positions with publishers adjacent to editorial in all magazines. Ads are placed run of book surrounded by award-winning editorial in a mix of positions sometimes in front, often in the middle, and sometimes in back. All magazines are read thoroughly front to back and often back to front. Editors take great care to insure magazines are read, after many years of publishing success.

  4. How much does it cost?

    Our program is designed to provide the best local value, lowest out-of-pocket cost, of any local print medium to reach women of any demographic group ages 15-21 and 25-65+. Often, to run 4-color full pages in several magazines in our groupings is the 1x equivalent cost of one full page in any single local print medium including daily newspapers.

  5. How do we know that our advertising is delivered?

    We print to each magazine's Audit of Bureau Circulation (ABC) individual subscription mailing lists defined by published zip code sectional centers. We print 5% excess to cover new subscriptions. We provide two sets of publisher checking copies to advertisers as proof of advertising. If requested, publishers also will provide affidavits as proof of delivery.

  6. How are we assured that our advertising will be read?

    Nothing insures that your message is read unless the creative message is compelling, elicits a response and is designed by professionals to meet client expectations. National magazines have been publishing for many years. The editors and writers know how to engage the reader with award-winning editorial, articles and recipes. The average reading time is 90 minutes to 2 hours. The average life of these magazines can be one month to one year. This insures print longevity of your ad campaign and increases the likelihood of your advertising being read.

  7. Are there discounts for running in multiple markets, spreads or more than one page in a market?

  8. If a market is needed that is not listed can you make it available?

    Possibly. It depends on the availability, the circulation of the network, and the size of the market.

  9. What if I do not want to run an ad in all the magazines in a Network, may I pick an individual magazine?

    Magazines can not be separated out one (1) individually. Ads seen are grouped together in compatible groups called "Networks" for greater reach of audience and printing efficiencies. The results are greater reach of target audience at the best value of any local media.

  10. What other services are available?

    A variety of on-page products and services such as subscriber list rental, counter top cards, reply cards, Post-it note on-page messaging, and text messaging.

  11. What paper weight do you print the inserts on?

    Inserts are printed on 50# and 60# paper depending on insert volume and size of inserts. Magazines are printed on 40-45# paper.

  12. What are the closing deadlines?

    Ad material closing deadlines are 6 (six) weeks prior to the in-market published delivery of a particular issue. For example, March 2009 issues that close on December 15th are sent to subscribers the first week of February 2009. Delivery is staggered throughout the month of February.

  13. What if my ad is missing?

    Advertising is delivered to paid individual subscribers. There is no delivery to newsstand copies, special discounted issues found in some public places including doctor's offices, hospital lobbies, spas, and hair salons. Ads may not appear in new or lapsed renewal of subscription copies - it may take 6-8 weeks for ads to appear in new subscriptions. Ads may not also appear in subscriber objected scented copies. We guarantee advertisers delivery of their ads or, if there is a technical problem, reimbursement for missed circulation of any magazine.   14. Is there any extra charge for bleed ads?

    No additional charges for bleed ads.

  15. Do I need credit approval?

    Advertisers require credit approval to accept our payment terms. This is standard operating procedure for all businesses. Completion of our credit application and the establishment of a history of timely payment satisfies our payment terms. We accept cash (checks) with order and credit cards (not American Express). Complete credit application must be submitted 2 weeks before close.
